AIA Document G705–2001 is a form for listing subcontractors and others proposed to be employed on a project as required by the bidding documents. It is to be filled out by the contractor and returned to the architect for submission to the owner. For all document details and a record of changes, see the summary »
As a requirement of AIA Documents A201–2007 and A107–2007, the Contractor will complete this list of proposed Subcontractors for submission to the Owner, through the Architect, after award of the Contract.
Subcontractors are persons or entities who have a direct contract with the Contractor to perform a portion of the Work at a project site.
For A201–2007, this list should include both Subcontractors and the names of persons or entities, including those who furnish materials or equipment fabricated to a special design, proposed for each principal portion of the Work.
After the Owner and Architect review AIA Document G705–2001, it is the Owner’s or Architect’s responsibility under A201–2007 to reply, in writing, to the Contractor if there is reasonable objection to any proposed persons or entities.
