Synopsis.
AIA Document G808-2017 can be used by the architect to record pertinent information about the project throughout design and construction. The architect can use G808 to (a) maintain a directory of project participants, (b) record code information and calculations, and (c) track regulatory approvals. G808 should be completed piece by piece as a project progresses and should be periodically reviewed to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the information. The attached Construction Classification Worksheet can be used to supplement G808. For use and execution of a document, see its instructions »
Purpose.
AIA Document G808–2017 is for recording information project teams gather in the course of providing professional services. G808 should be completed piece by piece as a project progresses and periodically reviewed to ensure information relevance. The attached Construction Classifications Worksheet can be used to supplement the information recorded in G808. AIA Document G808 can help a design team work through the range of code compliance combinations available before choosing a final compliance strategy.
Changes from the previous edition.
AIA Document G808-2017, Project Directory and Design Data Summary, replaces G806™-2001, Project Parameters Worksheet; G807™-2001, Project Team Directory; and G808™-2001, Project Data. The 2017 version of G808 allows the architect to record project-related data in one document throughout the project, rather than using three forms as was required in the 2001 editions.
